Getting started

How do I create an account?

Click Get started free on the homepage, fill in your details, and verify your email to activate your account.

Where do I manage everything after signing up?

Everything — sending messages, contacts, events, sender IDs, and reports — lives in your dashboard once you log in.

Contacts & imports

How do I add contacts?

Add a contact one at a time from the Contacts screen, or import a whole list at once from a spreadsheet. See our import templates for the exact column format.

Why was a row in my import skipped?

Rows without a name, or with a phone number that isn't a valid local number (starting with 0, 10 digits total), are skipped automatically so they don't end up saved with an unusable number. The import summary tells you how many rows were skipped.

Sending SMS & WhatsApp

How do I send an SMS or WhatsApp message?

From Compose in your dashboard, pick a sender ID or gateway, choose your contacts or a group, write your message, and send. Delivery status updates in your reports as it comes back from the network.

Can I use my own WhatsApp number?

WhatsApp messaging runs through the official WhatsApp Business Platform, connected per gateway. Reach out to us at info@namarc.co.tz if you'd like help getting a WhatsApp gateway connected to your account.

Events, RSVP & check-in

How does the event workflow work?

Create an event, build a guest list (manually or by import), send invitations, then track RSVPs as they come in. On the day, scan each guest's QR code at the door to check them in and see live attendance.

What's "party size" on a guest?

It's how many seats that RSVP covers — a guest bringing 2 extra people counts as a party size of 3, so your attendance count reflects everyone arriving, not just the person who RSVP'd.

OTP verification

What is the OTP service for?

It sends one‑time passcodes for logins, payment confirmations, and identity verification — useful if you're building this into your own product via our API.

Account & billing

How does billing work?

Namarc Events uses usage‑based billing — you're charged for what you actually send. Contact us for current rates and to set up billing for your account.
